The child has one intuitive aim: self development
Lily Camargo, born and raised in Mexico City, carries a deep pride in her Mexican heritage, cherishing the vibrant culture, warm people, and beautiful landscapes of her homeland. Her love for education blossomed when she discovered Montessori, a method she admires for its ability to foster strength, values, and independence in children. With a profound commitment to guiding children in their formative years, Lily aims to offer them the same empathetic, loving, and firm foundation that shaped her own upbringing.
Lily’s educational background includes both national and international Montessori certifications, allowing her to expertly guide young learners from infancy through early childhood. Throughout her extensive training and career, she has worked as a Children’s House Guide at Paxia Montessori and Hala Ken Montessori School, and as a Group Leader at Montessori Center Nexhie. Her experience spans more than two decades and includes coordinating summer programs in art and movement and supporting the cognitive, social, and emotional development of children from infancy to six years of age.
A lifelong learner, Lily has enriched her teaching through numerous professional development courses, workshops, and conferences in areas like socio-emotional learning, ethics, and early childhood stimulation. Outside of work, Lily enjoys spending quality time with her husband exploring new places, dining, and discovering new books. Now living in the U.S., she embraces the friendships and connections she has built with her new community, remaining grateful for the families who value her dedication to their children’s growth.
